Visual artist – colour researcher
As can be seen from these works and the works from my debut show in 1981, I was very much drawn to Constructivism at the beginning of my career. I particularly admired (and still do today) the works of the early Russian Constructivists and Futurists as well as those of such artists as László Moholy-Nagy, Victor Vasarely and Olle Baertling.
Nexus (1990) was created for a poster campaign during the Helsinki Festival in the summer of 1990. I was one of several artists, whose posters were placed in place of advertisements on bus and tram stops throughout the city.
